Little York. It was a crisp and  foggy morning as I looked out the window and wondered if I
needed to find my windshield scraper. With a kiss ga-bye to the wife and a good cup o' joe in my
hand, I was on my way and boy was it a heavy dew..... my feet were soaked before I even hit the
end of the driveway !  As I headed up Rte 281 I was realizing this is the end of summer..where
did it go? As I pulled through Homer I noticed some fellow car cruisers at the local
eateries..uummm... do I have time for a bite ...naaw...Keep on truckin'- I'll live to eat another day.
I'll be there in about 8 minutes or so..don't want to wait in line to sign in. As I drop off my
registration Jim Florance is already checked in and informs me that he's over in the car corral
with the Earndhart S/S monte Carlo for sale...I'll stop by later to shoot the breeze. By 10o'clock
the place is rockin -400 cars signed in already and it's cleared up nicely, best day of the summer I
bet. It looks like the racing brotherhood is well represented in the show- the pics are proof..After
some picture taking I check out the local flea market and spot some 59AB heads for a 42-48 ford-
I make a call to inform some interested parties of my find - no answer maybe they'll call me back-
That's one thing I like about our club -we're always trying to help each other out !  John Mason
has pulled in and we set up our displays. a lot of interest-needless to say John has won the Best
of the Worst award in my book !!! Well I believe that God has blessed us this day and was smiling
through the event. With that being said, it was a great time- plan on coming next year it is a
great show put on by the Cortland Antique Auto Club. 650 cars had made their show -pretty
impressive I'd say.
Now -I'm done and let the pictures tell the rest !
Jim Chase

Nice job Jim - thanks! You're guys are hired!
