1934 Ford 5 window coupe #24 driven by Don Elliot at
Penn Can and Five Mile Point in 1964 & 1965. This is an
original car, 1934 Ford frame re-inforced with angle iron.
Traverse front spring, split wishbone, Buick drums up
front on 1/2 ton hubs & spindles. Steering is via a GMC
truck box. Rearend is open driveshaft truck with dual leaf
springs & wishbones, 1/2 ton Ford hubs & spindles, the
spider gears are welded up for a locked axle. The
transmission is a 1938 toploader that works fine. Engine
is a 1938 Ford 21 stud 90 horse and runs great on 6 volts,
single stromberg and headers. Radiator is truck. Seat is
from a 55 gallon drum. This is a neat survivor from Penn
-Can, body is pretty decent, passenger door opens, driver
door could as well, cage is as run in 1964. Bill of Sale
